About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Camlin Rail. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and analysis to our Product Management, Field Services, and Project Delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and commission train monitoring systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyse and review system performance, providing feedback to the design team to improve system efficiency.
  • Ensure System Commissioning documents/reports are updated where necessary.
  • Log and support Customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support Field Install teams when required, providing technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
  • A minimum HNC or equivalent qualification in an appropriate engineering discipline, such as electronics, systems engineering, mechatronics, IT, Maths, Technology and Design.
  • Work experience in an engineering environment, with a strong understanding of technical systems and processes.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office, particularly in data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with Photography editing software, to enhance visual content for customer-facing materials.
  • Work experience in a customer-facing role, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop skills required to take on additional responsibilities, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Clean driving license, with a valid UK driving license.
