Job Title: Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at a brand new mental health hospital in Clacton On Sea, Essex area. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leading a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, treat, and discharge patients safely
  • Manage medication and develop treatment plans
  • Ensure quality assurance, complaints, and co-production
  • Deliver NICE guidance and lead the CPA and ICR process
Requirements:
  • MRCPsychiatry or equivalent with full GMC registration
  • Previous Consultant experience and knowledge of current developments in psychiatry
  • Substantial knowledge of change management, relevant legislation, and contemporary issues in mental health
