About the Role
Elysium Healthcare is seeking a skilled Clinical Psychiatrist to join our team as a Bank RMO Doctor. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality clinical care to patients with mental health disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the mental state and physical health of service users.
- Ensure adequate handover to colleagues.
- Take a lead with managing any physical health concerns that emerge during inpatient stay.
- Seek collateral history from other professionals and family.
- Complete admission assessments in a timely manner.
- Work effectively with colleagues to ensure that patients have access to appropriate medical treatment at all times, including referral to the local A&E Department if required.
- Attend monthly clinical and managerial supervision sessions.
Requirements
- Full GMC registration.
- Experience working in psychiatry within multi-disciplinary teams.
- To have had an appraisal/RITA within the last year.
- At least 1 year's experience in Psychiatry.
- Experience working as a doctor within a PICU/Secure services (desirable).
