Job Title: Senior Clinical Foot Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Foot Specialist to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. The successful candidate will have a strong background in foot and ankle surgery, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert clinical care to patients with foot and ankle conditions, including diagnosis, treatment, and management.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols for foot and ankle care.
  • Participate in audit and research projects to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Greater than two years Orthopaedic Registrar experience, particularly in foot and ankle subspecialties.
  • Minimum 4 months NHS experience.
  • Basic MB BS or equivalent.
  • Postgraduate FRCS / MRCS or equivalent.
  • Commitment to continuing postgraduate education and training.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Evidence of involvement in audit & research projects.
  • Contribution to management of professional organisation.
  • Some experience of medical writing.

Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time position, working within our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.
