Job Title: Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service Nurse

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service Nurse to join our team at Dorset HealthCare. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical assessment and treatment services to patients, including conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring they are evidence-based and aligned with best practice.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and service delivery.
  • Provide education and training to junior staff and learners, promoting their professional development and enhancing the skills of the clinical team.

Requirements:

  • Registered practitioner to degree/diploma level, supplemented by post-registration diploma level specialist training and/or short courses or demonstrable extensive experience in the relevant specialty.
  • Experience at Practitioner Band 5 level, with a strong understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and external partners.
  • Ability to analyze and assess situations, interpreting potentially conflicting information and determining appropriate action.
  • Willingness to advance own clinical knowledge, skill, and competence based on current evidence.
