We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service Nurse to join our team at Dorset HealthCare. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical services.
Key Responsibilities
As a Clinical Assessment and Treatment Service Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Providing clinical assessment and treatment to patients, including conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes.
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Contributing to the development of clinical policies and procedures, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Providing education and training to junior staff and learners, and supporting their professional development.
- Participating in clinical governance activities, including audits and risk management.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Learning and Assessing in Practice Qualification or equivalent practice assessors training.
- Evidence of recent professional development in an up-to-date portfolio.
- Registration as a practitioner to degree/diploma level, supplemented by post-registration diploma level specialist training and/or short courses or demonstrable extensive experience in the relevant specialty.
- Experience at Practitioner Band 5 level, with experience of specialist working.
- Experience of providing clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff.
- Able to communicate effectively at different levels of the organisation and with staff, patient/service users, visitors or external organisations both verbally and in writing.
