About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Specialist Advisor to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our patients and clients.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing specialist programmes of care for individuals or groups of patients/clients, providing highly specialist advice, and working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams.

Requirements

  • Registered practitioner to degree level
  • Membership of the relevant Professional Body
  • Learning and Assessing in Practice Qualification or equivalent practice assessors training
  • Evidence of recent professional development in an up-to-date portfolio
  • Demonstrable knowledge of legislation relevant to the area of clinical practice

Desirable Criteria

  • Non-medical prescriber

Essential Experience

  • Experience at Registered Practitioner Band 6 level
  • Evidence of risk management skills and experience
  • Experience of developing specialist programmes of care for individuals or groups of patients/clients and providing highly specialist advice
  • Experience of multi-disciplinary working
  • Liaison Psychiatry service experience

Information Technology

  • Able to analyse data and produce reports using Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Experience of using electronic patient/service user record systems
