About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our actuarial team as a Commercial Pricing Actuary - Specialty Division. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out deal-level pricing for material or complex risks and deals, providing challenge and direction to the team. You will also be responsible for managing, maintaining, and developing the deal-level pricing model(s), including documentation and relevant regulatory reporting and communication.

This is a fundamental role in the actuarial team, and you will work closely with the Underwriters to enhance Ki's commercial and strategic approach using creative actuarial insight and innovative solutions. The role is commercially minded, supporting the SME Underwriters through expert technical and commercial pricing knowledge, adding input into the strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out deal-level pricing for material or complex risks and deals, providing challenge and direction to the team.
  • Manage, maintain, and develop the deal-level pricing model(s), including documentation and relevant regulatory reporting and communication.
  • Work closely with the Underwriters to enhance Ki's commercial and strategic approach using creative actuarial insight and innovative solutions.
  • Support the SME Underwriters through expert technical and commercial pricing knowledge, adding input into the strategic direction.
  • Develop class-specific management information and insight, ensuring its communication to stakeholders internally and externally.
