About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuary to join our Portfolio Underwriting team at Ki Insurance. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will play a fundamental role in developing and maintaining our deal-level pricing models, ensuring they meet commercial, actuarial, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out deal-level pricing for material or complex risks and deals, providing challenge and direction to the team.
  • Manage, maintain, and develop the deal-level pricing model(s), including documentation and relevant regulatory reporting/communication.
  • Monitor and re-calibrate the pricing models to ensure they meet commercial, actuarial, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Underwriters to enhance Ki's commercial and strategic approach using creative actuarial insight and innovative solutions.
  • Develop class-specific management information and insight, ensuring its communication to stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Support the continued development of algorithmic pricing and risk selection, working closely with the Algorithmic Pricing team.
What You'll Bring
  • Strong actuarial expertise, with a focus on commercial pricing and risk management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
