About the Role
You will:
- Evaluate potential longevity transactions for further investigation and analysis.
- Lead the development and implementation of actuarial pricing models for longevity transactions.
- Formulate innovative solutions to clients' needs and internal pricing issues, leveraging expertise in actuarial science and risk management.
- Manage and develop Longevity pricing processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Lead or support ad-hoc projects and research initiatives, driving business growth and improvement.
- Support the development of a comprehensive costing framework for longevity business, incorporating actuarial principles and industry best practices.
About the Team
As a member of the Life & Health Structured Solutions team at Swiss Re, you will be part of a dynamic and experienced team focused on due diligence and executing Longevity Solutions transactions.
About You
We invite applications from individuals with a strong background in actuarial science, who possess:
- A part or nearly qualified actuary designation.
- Familiarity with longevity transactions and actuarial pricing principles.
- Experience in actuarial pricing and mortality analysis, with a strong understanding of risk management concepts.
- Commercial awareness and strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel/VBA and programming environments, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
