About the Role

This is a key position within the Actuarial team at Ki Insurance, reporting to the Portfolio Underwriting team. As a Senior Actuarial Pricing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the company's commercial and strategic approach using creative actuarial insight and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out deal-level pricing for material or complex risks and deals, providing challenge and direction to the team.
  • Manage, maintain, and develop the deal-level pricing model(s), including documentation and relevant regulatory reporting/communication.
  • Monitor and re-calibrate the pricing models to ensure they meet commercial, actuarial, and regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with the Underwriters to enhance the company's commercial and strategic approach.
  • Develop class-specific management information and insight, ensuring its communication to stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Support the continued development of algorithmic pricing and risk selection.
Requirements
  • Strong actuarial expertise and commercial pricing knowledge.
  • Ability to work closely with the Underwriters and other teams to enhance the company's commercial and strategic approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain complex pricing models.
