Credit Control Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Credit Controllers to drive performance and achieve targets.
- Set and monitor monthly targets for the team, providing coaching and feedback where needed.
- Review customer ledgers and ensure all accounts have actionable plans in place to minimize debt and maximize sales potential.
- Establish criteria for setting credit limits for new and existing customers by analyzing financial data and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Monitor credit-held orders daily, resolving issues with Sales and Credit teams to boost sales performance and minimize losses.
- Manage aged debt, focusing particularly on 90+ day debt and ensuring timely resolutions to maintain a healthy cash flow.
- Act as the face of the Credit Team by liaising with Country Managers, Sales Directors, and Customer Service to resolve credit disputes and escalate issues when necessary.
- Oversee seasonal order-book procedures and ensure timely allocation of cash, credit notes, and journals to maintain accurate financial records.
- Provide monthly management reports on team performance and credit-related metrics to inform business decisions.
