Credit Control Team Leader

Advancing People Multilingual is seeking a highly skilled Credit Control Team Leader to join their client's finance department in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire.
As a Credit Control Team Leader, you will be responsible for the proactive management of credit with clients and key customers across EMEA, while providing focus, motivation, and development to your team.
Main Responsibilities:- Monitor the Aged Debt daily, providing focus and drive to the Team, and resolving specific issues.
- Review the action plan for the 90-day + debt, ensuring all actions are fluid and within a specific timeline.
- Motivate, focus, and drive performance of the Team and individual Credit Controllers within your team.
- Set monthly targets for the team and Credit Controllers, monitor performance during the month, and assist where necessary.
- Coach and train members of your team, conduct regular call appraisals, and provide feedback to the Credit Controller to improve their skill set.
- Review the ledger with each Credit Controller at least once a month, ensuring all accounts have a fluid action against them, advising, and agreeing action plans.
- Previous experience working as a Credit Controller/Collections Advisor.
- Leadership/Supervisory experience is an advantage.
- Numerical accuracy with strong communication skills.
- Resilient nature and positive 'can-do' attitude.
- Good computer skills.
This is a full-time permanent position offering an annual salary of up to £35,000 + attractive company benefits.
This position is hybrid, with the successful applicant required to be office-based 2 days a week in Nottingham.
