Salary: Up to £50,000 based on experience, with a comprehensive package reaching £58,750, including a generous bonus scheme and pension contributions.

As a Lead Cybersecurity Specialist, you will be a vital member of our team, playing a key role in advancing the company's cybersecurity initiatives across multiple regions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Security Architects and the broader team in daily operations and project management.
  • Identifying, assessing, and prioritizing cyber risks to safeguard the organization.
  • Mentoring a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance to enhance their skills and career development.
  • Maintaining crisis communication strategies to ensure effective responses during security incidents.
  • Protecting customer data and systems from cyber threats while ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
  • Collaborating with various teams to tailor cybersecurity solutions to meet specific needs.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, including GDPR and the UK Data Protection Act.
  • Implementing sustainable cybersecurity practices that consider environmental impacts.
  • Developing policies and procedures that align with industry standards, such as ISO 27001.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of enterprise security architecture.
  • Experience in developing and executing security policies.
  • Proven track record in conducting risk assessments and managing security incidents.
  • Experience in leading a team of security professionals.
  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are advantageous but not mandatory.
