Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to join our Radiotherapy team at Hca Cancer Network. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care, ensuring accurate treatment planning and administration, and leading a team of professionals to deliver a high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the radiotherapy team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration to achieve departmental goals.
  2. Treatment Planning and Administration: Ensure accurate and timely treatment planning and administration, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.
  3. Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of quality assurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental protocols.
  4. Team Development: Support and develop team members, providing training and guidance to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  5. Operational Management: Manage the day-to-day operations of the radiotherapy department, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective workflow.
  6. Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and departmental policies, maintaining a safe and secure working environment.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Must be qualified to practice as an operator within radiotherapy as defined by IR(ME)R.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a leadership role within a radiotherapy department, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
