Business Development Director - National

Drive Business Growth in the Foodservice Sector

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Director to lead our national business development initiatives in the foodservice sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing winning bids and business opportunities to meet and exceed income targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of national business development strategies to drive growth in the foodservice sector.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key contacts at target clients to enhance awareness and drive new business.
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial contact through to signed contract, ensuring a smooth handover to the operational team.
  • Develop creative and innovative business development strategies that resonate with clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Senior-level experience in business development or procurement within the public sector, specifically in foodservice, retail, or facilities management.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing long sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to produce high-quality proposals and tender documents.
  • Commercial acumen with the ability to craft winning, financially sound proposals.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Willingness to travel and engage with clients across various locations.
