About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our local team at Anglian Home Improvements, the UK's leading home improvement business. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and motivating a team of self-employed Sales Executives, driving recruitment activity, and providing training and coaching to ensure the team meets sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of self-employed Sales Executives to achieve sales targets
  • Drive recruitment activity of self-employed Sales Representatives and Marketing Agents to complement the existing team
  • Provide training, coaching, and development to ensure the team meets company standards and policies
  • Encourage the Sales Team to generate leads through approved methods and manage leads from internal sources
  • Ensure the Sales Team presents the approved finance presentation to every potential customer
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to deliver on the business plan and achieve sales targets
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports
Requirements
  • Successful proven experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Manager with a track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Ideal experience within the home improvement industry or similar
  • Ideal experience of recruiting self-employed Sales Professionals
  • Highly motivated with the ability to motivate and guide people to achieve targets
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Experience of remote meetings and sales appointments
  • Proactive approach and results-driven
  • Flexible towards varied workloads and working hours
  • Able to provide a consistently high level of customer service
  • Committed to continuous personal development
  • A driver with a full UK driving license and own car
