Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the smooth operation and continuation of service of our depot EPOS system K8
  • Resolve application issues efficiently and effectively
  • Respond to production incidents, drive recovery and mitigation, and ensure agreed levels of support are maintained and delivered to the Howdens user community
  • Address small change requests that can be completed within a short amount of time
  • Be service-focused, with the desire to deliver first-class service to our colleagues and dedicated to improving our processes through automation, innovation, and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a software development environment
  • Skills or knowledge of K8 EPOS system
  • Understanding or familiarity with Report Generator, DX transfers and DX transforms, Agent Scheduler, Format stationaries and Print Manager, Workplaces, Sales Order Processing module, and sales processes
  • Excellent time management and troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Experience in the Retail/Trade Sector an advantage
