Housing Scheme Manager

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Scheme Manager to undertake various duties at our sheltered accommodation at Leyland Court.

In this key role, you will play a crucial part in supporting residents by providing assistance with daily living tasks, managing the scheme's day-to-day operations, and ensuring the overall well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Manage the scheme's day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, budgeting, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, such as healthcare professionals and social services, to ensure residents receive the necessary support.
  • Ensure the scheme is run in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and Estuary's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role or a related field, such as social care or housing management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, staff, and external agencies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and Estuary's policies and procedures.
