Job Title: Housing Scheme Manager

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Scheme Manager to join our team at Estuary Housing Association.

About the Role

This is a key role that requires a strong commitment to supporting residents in a sheltered accommodation setting. As a Scheme Manager, you will be responsible for providing assistance with daily tasks, ensuring the safety and security of residents, and addressing any concerns related to repairs and maintenance.

You will work closely with residents, colleagues, and external agencies to build strong, supportive relationships. Excellent communication skills are essential for this role, as you will need to engage effectively with residents, colleagues, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency alarm calls and take appropriate action.
  • Maintain a diary to record instances where master keys are used and other important matters.
  • Keep accurate records and ensure they are readily available in case of an emergency.
  • Promote the use of the resident's lounge and stimulate social activity by facilitating community events.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Scheme Manager or Warden is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Customer service and administration skills.
