Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be tasked with:
  • Maintaining and updating supplier records
  • Inputting supplier documentation into the financial system
  • Accurately coding invoices and credits to the appropriate accounts

  • Resolving queries from suppliers via phone and email
  • Scheduling BACS payments to suppliers
  • Assisting with month-end financial processes

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • GCSE or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths at grade C or above
  • Experience in an accounting environment
  • Proficiency in managing a Purchase Ledger
  • Strong spreadsheet skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Intermediate level IT skills, particularly in Excel
  • Self-motivation and initiative
  • Capability to meet strict deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility during peak periods
  • High attention to detail
  • AAT qualification or progress towards it (desirable)
  • Experience in a multinational finance/accounting role (desirable)
  • Familiarity with Sage software (desirable)
  • Any additional language skills (desirable)
  • Touch typing skills (desirable)
