Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Consultant

We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to become a part of the Human Resources team on a full-time permanent basis, overseeing all recruitment activities while providing additional HR support as necessary.

Key Responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition and Human Resources Consultant

The role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:

  • Collaborating with hiring managers to facilitate recruitment processes and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Establishing strong relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • Coordinating with staffing agencies and developing a preferred supplier list (PSL).
  • Crafting engaging job advertisements to attract a robust talent pipeline through various platforms, including LinkedIn and job boards, while monitoring success metrics.
  • Organizing interviews and managing offer letters, contracts, references, right to work checks, onboarding, and training for new hires.
  • Staying informed about employment legislation and market trends related to recruitment.
  • Utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to oversee the selection process and train hiring managers.

Experience Required

To excel in this position, candidates should be seasoned in-house recruiters adept at managing the complete recruitment lifecycle. This includes engaging with hiring managers on job requisitions, composing compelling job advertisements, and sourcing candidates across various platforms. Experience in confidently liaising with recruitment agencies and managing a PSL is essential.

Candidates should also be proficient in selecting applications for hiring managers, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters and contracts for successful candidates, while maintaining communication with candidates throughout their probation period.

Exceptional organizational and communication skills are vital, along with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and educate them on recruitment best practices. Attention to detail and accuracy in work are crucial, as is the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. A self-motivated and proactive approach, coupled with a collaborative spirit, is necessary to adapt to the evolving needs of a growing organization.

Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter to attract and source candidates for both UK and international roles is required, as well as familiarity with an ATS to manage the recruitment process effectively. An interest in HR functions, including payroll, reference checks, and contract management, is beneficial, as the role may involve providing cover for HR activities during annual leave.
