About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team at Client Server. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in establishing and maintaining our DevOps function, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide subject matter expertise on DevOps, establishing the function, putting systems, processes, and policies in place.
  • Work within a Microsoft technology stack, with the opportunity to work with various tech stacks depending on the client.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design, implement, and maintain scalable and efficient systems.
  • Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for DevOps and cloud technologies.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top-tier university, Computer Science or similar technical/scientific discipline, backed by A A B grades at A-level.
  • Expertise with DevOps within an Azure environment.
  • Software engineering background (any programming language, C# or Python preferred) and strong scripting skills (PowerShell preferred).
  • Experience with Docker Orchestration via Kubernetes.
  • Experience with public cloud technologies; Azure, AWS, GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of modern software engineering best practices.
