We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CAMHS Crisis Practitioner to join our innovative Tier 4 team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the operational management of the service, while also providing clinical expertise and guidance to our team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a crisis caseload of young people and their families, providing individualized care packages and programmes to meet their unique needs.
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with young people and their families, working collaboratively with other professionals to promote positive outcomes.
- Assess and manage high-risk adolescent clients, conducting risk assessments and formulating safety plans to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Provide crisis mental health assessments in a variety of settings, including Accident and Emergency departments, and liaise with relevant individuals and agencies to promote a positive and safe experience for young people and their families.
- Make appropriate decisions under pressure, taking into account the risks to clients, self, and others, and assess complex situations to inform good practice.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions and undertake routine outcome measures to monitor the quality of care provided, in line with the national CYPIAPT framework.
