About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our CAMHS Urgent Help Service team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive crisis assessment and management of mental health needs for children and young people in crisis.

You will work closely with families and carers to develop care plans, which set out goals and agreed treatments. Regular reviews will ensure that treatment is effective and helping young people to recover.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive crisis assessment and management of mental health needs for children and young people in crisis
  • Work closely with families and carers to develop care plans
  • Regularly review progress to ensure treatment is effective
  • Take a lead on clinical matters and policy development relating to clinical practice
  • Provide clinical supervision to team members
Requirements
  • Registered with the NMC/HCPC/SW England
  • Experience in risk management
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and varied role
  • Adaptable, organised, compassionate, and a team player
  • Experience working within a mental health setting

We offer a competitive salary, a relocation package up to a maximum of £8,000, and a £4,000 Incentive for band 5-7 Nurses & Practitioners. We also offer flexible working arrangements and a supportive team environment.
