About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

As a Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people who are experiencing mental health conditions and difficulties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health conditions in children and young people.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with the young person, their family, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Work closely with the Urgent Help Service team to provide a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
  • Conduct regular reviews of progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless and effective service.
Requirements
  • Registered with the NMC/HCPC/SW England.
  • Experience in risk management and working in a fast-paced and varied role.
  • Adaptable, organised, compassionate, and a team player.
  • Experience working within a mental health setting, preferably in CAMHS and/or inpatient settings.
