About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Planning Director to join our team at Legal & General. As a key member of our marketing function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing planning processes that drive commercial value and align with our business strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate annual marketing planning processes, including quarterly and monthly reforecasts, to deliver commercial value, budget, and marketing ratio outputs.
  • Manage day-to-day budget and accrual management, working closely with our Finance team to ensure seamless finance processes.
  • Provide performance and marketing metrics and insights, running key governance, trading, and performance meetings to inform business decisions.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across our Retirement businesses, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
  • Monitor competitors and market trends, analyzing data to inform marketing planning and reforecast processes.
  • Work closely with our Data Science team to ensure the latest marketing analytics, attribution, econometrics, customer segment, and LTV data are integrated into marketing planning and reforecast processes.
  • Optimize and improve processes and performance monitoring by implementing automation and embedding best practices.
  • Collaborate with Product, Proposition, and Commercial teams to ensure marketing strategies and plans are aligned with and optimized for product enhancements and driving value metrics.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, working closely with our Conduct Risk team to ensure adherence to the FCA's guidance on Treating Customers Fairly.
