About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer - Plumber to join our team at Robertson Facilities Management. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive, high-quality Reactive Maintenance, Planned, and Lifecycle service for our clients within the given region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake planned and responsive plumbing work independently or supervised across both our Commercial and Public Sector buildings.
  • Ensure the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools, adhering to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, Control of Infection, Waste Disposal, and other legislative requirements.
  • Participate in an On-Call rota, providing 24-hour, 365-day cover to the Facilities.
  • Report all accidents and incidents as per RFM's Health and Safety Policy.
  • Maintain an awareness of RFM's policies, procedures, and objectives related to the successful delivery of the maintenance service.
  • Provide support and assistance to other RFM personnel on site in the delivery of contracted services.
  • Maintain asset histories, maintenance records, and helpdesk reports, informing the RFM Contracts Manager or sub-contractors of any follow-up action required.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on own initiative and demonstrate a methodical approach.
  • Previous maintenance experience working in an FM environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under pressure.
  • Dedication and ambition to develop within the role.
  • NVQ Level 2 or higher in plumbing.
  • Water Byelaws Scotland.
  • Extensive experience of property maintenance gained in either the public or private sector.
  • Driving Licence.
