Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Robertson Group. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality reactive maintenance, planned, and lifecycle services across our commercial and public sector buildings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake planned and responsive plumbing work independently or under supervision, ensuring the safe operation of all plant, equipment, and tools.
  • Perform maintenance duties to support client objectives while respecting the dignity and privacy of the resident group.
  • Participate in an On-Call rota providing 24hr, 365-day cover to the Facilities.
  • Report all accidents and incidents as per RFM's Health and Safety Policy.
  • Maintain awareness of RFM's policies, procedures, and objectives related to the maintenance service.
  • Maintain asset histories, maintenance records, and helpdesk reports, informing the RFM Contracts Manager or sub-contractors of any follow-up actions required.

Requirements

  • Previous maintenance experience in an FM environment.
  • NVQ Level 2 or higher in plumbing.
  • Water Byelaws Scotland certification.
  • Extensive experience in property maintenance in either the public or private sector.
  • Driving Licence.
