Job Summary

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a highly skilled Relational Database Administrator to join our team at State Police Headquarters in North Chesterfield, Virginia. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Oracle database environment to ensure optimal performance and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Oracle database solutions to meet business requirements
  • Monitor and optimize database performance to ensure efficient data processing
  • Develop and implement database security measures to protect sensitive data
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users on database-related issues
  • Collaborate with the software engineering team to ensure seamless integration with other systems
Requirements
  • Considerable knowledge of Oracle database design, administration, and security
