About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil Structural Engineer to join our team at oilandgas. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our projects and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
  • Project Management: Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
  • Design Expertise: Sound knowledge in design and analysis of heavy concrete and steel structures, and familiarity with current design standards and working practices, both British Standards and American codes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in designing with appropriate structural analysis packages.
  • Nuclear Sector Experience: Experience in the nuclear sector, particularly in the design and implementation of safety-related structures, systems and components (strongly preferred, but dependent on level of overall experience).
