We are seeking a Sports Centre Manager to oversee our recently upgraded Sports Centre.
The ideal candidate will possess management experience in a multifaceted environment and have a strong understanding of Sports and Leisure Centre operations, as well as the programming of sports and recreational activities.
Your responsibilities will include the daily management of a diverse array of sports facilities, which encompass a full-sized 3G pitch, a sports hall, and a modern fitness centre featuring a dance studio.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be tasked with managing the booking of conference rooms, classrooms, and meeting spaces.
Our other campus also includes various facilities under your supervision, such as another sports hall, two dance studios, and additional conference and classroom spaces.
The team you will lead consists of several Sports Centre Technicians who not only support commercial activities but also assist the academic staff in delivering high-quality education.
The primary objectives for this role are to optimize revenue across all facilities while ensuring that the team provides exceptional support to both students and staff.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills are essential, along with a natural aptitude for problem-solving while managing customer interactions across multiple locations.
A flexible approach to your work schedule is required, as this is a 37-hour contract, working five days out of seven. You will be responsible for managing your own rota, which may include shifts during weekdays and weekends.
