We are seeking a Sports Centre Manager to oversee our recently renovated Sports Centre.
The ideal candidate will possess substantial management experience in a multifaceted environment and have a comprehensive understanding of Sports and Leisure Centre operations, as well as the programming of sports and recreational activities.
Your responsibilities will include the daily management of a diverse array of sports facilities, which feature a full-sized 3G pitch, a sports hall, and a modern fitness centre complete with a dance studio.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be tasked with managing the rental of conference rooms, classrooms, and meeting spaces.
Our other campus includes several facilities under your supervision, including another sports hall, two dance studios, and additional conference and classroom spaces.
The team you will lead consists of several Sports Centre Technicians who support both commercial activities and assist the academic team in delivering high-quality education.
The primary objectives for this role are to optimize revenue across all facilities while ensuring the team provides exceptional support to students and staff.
Applicants must demonstrate outstanding organizational and leadership skills, along with a natural aptitude for problem-solving while managing customer interactions across multiple locations.
A flexible approach to your work schedule is essential, as this is a 37-hour contract requiring work across five days out of seven. You will have the autonomy to manage your own rota, which may include shifts during weekdays and weekends.
