Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate Note-Taking: Attend lectures and seminars, taking accurate and detailed notes for students who require assistance due to their disability.
  • Review and Editing: Review notes at the end of each lecture, ensuring they are in a suitable format for the student to access effectively.
  • Professional Relationship: Maintain a professional relationship with students, being aware of the need to maintain confidentiality and act in the best interests of learners at all times.
  • Collaboration with Randstad: Work closely with Randstad to ensure the needs of individual students are met, and any concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess accurate spelling and grammar skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students and colleagues.
  • Reliability and Punctuality: Demonstrate a high level of reliability and punctuality, with the ability to work quickly and under time restrictions.
  • Organizational Skills: Possess good organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Experience Working with Students with Disabilities: Ideally, have experience working with students with specific learning difficulties in higher or further education.
