Role Overview

As an Investment Solutions Specialist, you will be responsible for crafting and executing tailored solutions for new clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for some of the most sophisticated investors globally. Your focus will be on identifying how Addepar can deliver substantial value to our clients' operations, utilizing your analytical skills to guide clients in modeling and analyzing their financial instruments and assets. A strong grasp of both finance and technology is essential, along with a commitment to client satisfaction and effective project governance.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional client experiences, either in investment management or through software deployments in related fields. You will have the autonomy to manage your projects and schedule, demonstrating self-reliance while collaborating with other Addepar teams across Sales, Product, and Partnerships. Strong project management skills and an appreciation for our target markets are crucial, as is the technical ability to engage in hands-on teaching, learning, and development within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Showcase technical and industry knowledge to onboard users and client data onto the Addepar platform.
  • Deliver high-impact client outcomes that align with client expectations, transitioning smoothly to a best-practice operational model.
  • Proactively manage expectations both internally and externally throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure client retention through high satisfaction and reference-ability.
  • Lead scope changes to achieve high-value client outcomes in line with expectations.
  • Maintain 100% compliance with established responsibilities and documentation standards.
  • Oversee historical data conversions from inception to completion, demonstrating best practice methodologies.
  • Effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each is completed successfully.
  • Communicate project health and status proactively to internal and external senior leadership.
  • Critically assess and enhance current processes and tools as our client base grows.
  • Streamline project efforts and durations through the development of scalable processes and improved methodologies.
  • Lead delivery assurance for external third-party engagements.
  • Become an expert on all aspects of the Addepar platform.

Candidate Profile

  • Professional experience in project management, financial services, or consulting is preferred, with prior client-facing experience being advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time-management skills are essential.
  • Understanding of historical data conversion methodologies and various source systems, or a willingness to learn.
  • Process-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • The ideal candidate should be independent, adaptable, and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively train and communicate with clients through various channels.
  • A passion for technology and finance is highly valued.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
