Job Description

The business is now looking to appoint an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) manager to take full responsibility for all Health, Safety and Environmental operations across the business.

The successful candidate will join a high-performing and collaborative organisation during a period of excitement for all involved. The role will play a key part in the development and management of critical HSE strategies ensuring such operations develop in line with the growth of the business.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Steel, Fabrication, or Industrial Manufacturing industry, with a proven track record of implementing and maintaining effective HSE policies and procedures.

The HSE manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing HSE strategies to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Conducting regular risk assessments and audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Providing training and guidance to employees on HSE policies and procedures
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement business-wide HSE initiatives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in the Steel, Fabrication, or Industrial Manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in implementing and maintaining effective HSE policies and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior management and employees at all levels
