Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to support our busy manufacturing site during a time of growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide directional support to the Business in the planning, measuring, reviewing, and auditing of Environment, Health & Safety activities to meet legal requirements.
Set minimum standards of Environment, Health & Safety Practices where needed and advise management of best practices within the industry.
Develop strong working relationships with other managers, proactively supporting them to ensure they and their teams follow best practice and minimise risks.
Review, audit, and assess HSE activities to ensure legal compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
Prior experience in a HSE Manager position, ideally in food production or a high volume/FMCG manufacturing environment.
NEBOSH qualified (CMIOSH would be preferred).
Demonstrable experience of delivering HSE improvements and working collaboratively with other managers and stakeholders to raise standards.
Proven experience in a leadership position within HSE.
Experience of Environmental related issues and legislation.
