Job Title: Learning Support AssistantJob Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring Psychology Graduate to join our team as a Learning Support Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting neurodivergent children with mental health challenges in a specialist school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support a small group of eight pupils in the classroom, helping them improve their interpersonal and communication skills, as well as their numeracy and literacy understanding.
  • Apply psychological theories and engage in restorative and therapeutic practices to support children.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree in Psychology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children with varying needs and abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced school environment.
