About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform advanced data analysis and interpretation to identify trends and patterns in public health data.
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other data management tools to support data analysis and reporting.
  • Produce high-quality reports, briefings, and presentations to communicate complex data insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the council and external partners to ensure effective data sharing and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest data management and analysis techniques, and apply this knowledge to improve our data analysis and reporting capabilities.
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as public health, data analysis, or statistics.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and presentation, with a strong understanding of data visualization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
