We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Director to join our team at Priory Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in providing high-quality care to adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a multidisciplinary team of professionals in providing care and treatment to adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues.
- Review treatment plans and coordinate discharge to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
- Liaise with Commissioners regarding admission, progress updates, and discharge planning.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary approach to assessment, formulation, and management plans.
- Hold and continue registration with the GMC, including the relevant Specialist Register.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess highly sophisticated communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously to agreed short and medium-term objectives. You will also need to be a good problem solver and able to use your systemic knowledge, experience, and creative thinking to translate best practice and evidence-based research into practical operational solutions.
