C&C Search is excited to announce an opportunity for a paralegal to join a prominent in-house legal team within a financial services organization specializing in the Oil & Gas sector.

Compensation: £40,000-£50,000

Working Hours: 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM, 3/2 schedule

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in drafting legal documents, including contracts, amendments, and correspondence.
  • Support the legal department with various ongoing matters such as litigation, commercial and corporate issues, policy development, KYC processes, and inquiries from auditors.
  • Maintain and update corporate records diligently.
  • Help prepare minutes for board meetings and shareholder gatherings.
  • Assist with corporate documentation, including stock transfer forms and bank mandates.
  • Coordinate local registry findings, such as annual filings and audit reports.
  • Contribute to compliance and anti-corruption initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

  • A graduate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role.
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industry is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Highly organized with a proactive approach to supporting team members.
  • A problem-solver who takes initiative and responsibility.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ambitious and eager to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
