Stats Perform is in search of a dedicated and meticulous Paralegal to join our team, assisting our global operations through legal and corporate governance responsibilities. The Legal team provides comprehensive legal support across all facets of Stats Perform's business, addressing both significant and minor matters. Meanwhile, the company secretarial team manages the global corporate structure of Stats Perform, which encompasses over 65 entities across five continents.

Key Legal and Corporate Governance Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and provide insights on various agreements, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, vendor contracts, and commercial customer agreements.
  • Investigate and assess different risk factors related to business decisions and operations.
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the Stats Perform legal team across various specialties to support broader Stats Perform initiatives (commercial, corporate, technology, new markets, intellectual property).
  • Facilitate corporate objectives and support strategic initiatives while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, thereby minimizing risks.
  • Assist with business-focused projects related to company acquisitions, liquidations, and the development of processes and policies as needed by the UK/European legal team.
  • Aid the Company Secretary team in managing the corporate, administrative, and regulatory obligations of our portfolio of companies.
  • Oversee and manage the performance of our external company secretarial providers, ensuring that key performance indicators are met and delivered within budget.
  • Assist with the submission of Annual Audited Accounts and Confirmation Statements for the businesses.
  • Prepare power of attorneys and shareholder resolutions.
  • Conduct research and analysis on various legal areas across multiple jurisdictions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience as a company secretary paralegal is preferred, though general paralegal experience is acceptable.
  • Demonstrable academic accomplishments.
  • LPC or equivalent qualifications would be advantageous.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Effective teamwork, time management, and a solid understanding of confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and utilize initiative to work independently.
  • Capability to work within both local and global virtual teams.
  • Openness to adapt to changes in a dynamic corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in word processing and computer skills.

  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Flexible, personable, and collaborative with a proactive attitude.
  • Administrative experience is a plus.
