At Plug Me In, a leading provider of renewable energy solutions, we are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Operations Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our transition to sustainable heating solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Respond to and investigate inquiries from the public, heat pump manufacturers, electricians, and field teams in a professional and timely manner.
  • Grant Management: Manage applications and redemptions for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) Grants, liaise with regulatory bodies, and resolve related queries.
  • Installation Coordination: Register heat pump installations, apply for warranties and insurance guarantees, and prepare customer handover packs to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Technical Support: Assist the Technical Sales Executive in following up on heat pump inquiries, scheduling home assessment surveys, and coordinating installations.
  • Operations Management: Track installation jobs, update systems promptly, produce management reports, and coordinate with finance to ensure timely payments and grant redemptions.

Requirements:

  • A good standard of general education.
  • Experience in customer service, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email.
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities, with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge and experience in the Heat Pump market and infrastructure is desirable, but not essential.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must pass a basic criminal record check.
  • Proven eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Able to provide suitable references covering the previous 5 years.
