About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Team Lead to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Clinical Team Lead, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day management of a team of staff working within our mental health services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of staff, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and support to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Patient Care: Contribute to the development of patient-centred services, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and support.
  • Quality and Safety: Contribute to the successful attainment of national quality and safety objectives, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards.
  • Clinical Advice: Provide specialist clinical advice and care within designated area responsibility, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care.
  • Care Planning: Ensure that care needs are assessed and programs of care are developed, implemented, evaluated, and documented contemporaneously for caseload of patients.
  • Staff Development: Provide professional advice, guidance, and support to team members, ensuring that they are able to assume responsibility for carrying out their roles.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with the safe storage and administration of drugs/medication in accordance with Active Care Group policies.
  • Clinical Skills: Undertake and be proficient in the relevant clinical skills and be able to provide/undertake supervision/assessment of other members of the nursing team in their day-to-day working practices.
  • Infection Prevention: Work in collaboration with the Matron to implement relevant infection prevention and control measures and minimize the risks of infections for the ward.
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication of patient care and other essential information with internal/external members of the nursing and multi-disciplinary team.
  • Record Keeping: Ensure accurate and legible record keeping in accordance with local policies and NMC guidelines within own practice and sphere of responsibility.
Requirements
  • A current NMC Pin registration, with at least 4 years' experience in a similar environment.
  • A legal right to work in the UK.
  • Evidence of continuous personal and professional development.
  • Passionate about providing high-quality care and the Patient and Carer Experience.
