Executive Assistant to Commercial Banking Finance Director

We're seeking a proactive and adaptable individual to provide crucial day-to-day support for our Divisional Finance Director. As a vital member of our leadership team, you'll engage in a variety of activities across the entire team, ensuring no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities- Working collaboratively with colleagues across Finance and Retail to compile ad-hoc briefing packs, ensure committee papers and actions delivered on a timely basis and respond to ad-hoc queries.
- Developing and delivering the Retail Finance Best Team plan, with a focus on improving colleague engagement, development, and wellbeing.
- Leading activity on behalf of the Divisional Finance Director to ensure compliance with the SMCR regime.
- Developing and leading on all aspects of the Divisional Finance Directors team communication and engagement schedule.
- Responsibility for the Retail Finance cost and FTE budget, including recruitment and aligning to OD principles.
- Playing a key role in daily operations, acting as a trusted sounding board and source of feedback and challenge for the Divisional Finance Director.
- Management of the Divisional Finance Director's office and leadership team.

What you'll need- Qualified accountant with demonstrable experience in a Financial Accounting/Reporting related role.
- Outstanding organisational skills with ability to identify, plan and deliver key priorities effectively.
- Strong influencing skills to deliver through others while building trusting and collaborative relationships.
- Comfortable providing challenge at all levels, suggesting new and innovative approaches.
- Ability to clearly communicate ideas, proposals, implications at a senior level.
