About the Role
Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is seeking an experienced and motivated occupational therapist to join our adult mental health occupational therapy team. As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in managing a varied and complex caseload, providing occupational therapy assessment and intervention to adults with mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out specialist occupational therapy assessments, including in-home and community settings.
- Develop and implement treatment plans on an individual and group basis, working autonomously to manage and prioritize your caseload.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to modify and develop the service in line with changing circumstances and needs.
- Assess and manage risk, carrying out written risk assessments as required.
- Undertake generic duties to enable the service to function effectively, such as mental health assessments.
Requirements
- Meets all essential criteria as per attached job description/person specification.
- Ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post.
