Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team at the Titanic Hotel. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and a seamless experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Front Desk team to deliver high standards of customer service and ensure that all guests receive a warm welcome and a smooth check-in process.
- Lead by example and set the tone for excellent customer service, ensuring that all team members are motivated and empowered to deliver exceptional service.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to ensure that the Front Desk team has the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service.
- Monitor and control departmental costs, including payroll, to ensure that they are in line with budget and business demands.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all guests receive a seamless experience, from arrival to departure.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Front Desk or management role in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong IT skills, including experience of Opera, Reservation and Rooms Management systems, telephone switchboard, and point of sales systems.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to manage departmental costs and budgets.
