Finance Manager – Business Operations

As a key member of the Business Operations Team, you will play a vital role in partnering with various functions across the business to deliver an affordable cost base in support of the growing Submarines programmes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Identifying business trends, risks, and opportunities, and developing corrective actions to drive business growth.
  • Working closely with Financial Planning & Analysis colleagues to translate changing business needs into specific capabilities.
  • Supporting Business Reviews and ensuring that senior business stakeholders are informed and aligned with business objectives.
  • Providing senior stakeholder management, influencing, and networking to drive business outcomes.
  • Developing and maintaining detailed knowledge of the Submarines business and its operations.

You will be an integral part of the Business Operations Team, which partners with various functions across the business to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.

As a Finance Manager, you will take on a specialist role, recognising the scale and volume of non-project specific business partnering activities required across Submarines.
