As a Change Project Coordinator, you will be instrumental in steering the strategic initiatives that enhance operational efficiency within the railway sector. Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will:

  1. Define the scope and success metrics for change initiatives in collaboration with Executive Sponsors and Functional Directors.
  2. Oversee the execution of change projects, ensuring adherence to established company protocols and standards.
  3. Lead the formulation of comprehensive project management strategies for various change initiatives.
  4. Establish and coordinate cross-functional teams to facilitate the successful delivery of projects.
  5. Provide regular updates on project progress, highlighting any associated risks and challenges to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Manage project financials, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints.
  7. Encourage and track the implementation of efficiency enhancement techniques.
  8. Share insights and lessons learned from project experiences to foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Experience in managing change initiatives.
  • A solid understanding of project management methodologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of the UK railway sector.
  • Proficiency in IT tools, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite, along with experience in Power BI and Visio.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A good grasp of Access Planning and Operations Delivery processes.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will be advantageous:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Membership in a recognized project management association.
  • Awareness of commercial and financial principles.
  • Familiarity with investment processes and procedures.
  • Experience in managing key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Knowledge of planning standards 202, 303, and 019.
