Specifications Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Specifications Technologist to join our team at Selectus Total. As a Specifications Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the technical integrity and legal obligations of our food supply aspects are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain quality manuals and food safety documents, including HACCP, to ensure compliance with current food legislation.
  • Support the successful completion of customer and third-party audits and visits, ensuring our company meets all regulatory requirements.
  • Collect and submit data for packaging waste regulations and EPR, ensuring our company's obligations are met.
  • Conduct GMP audits, distribute results, and ensure closure of actions raised.
  • Lead and participate in root cause investigations, ensuring effective preventive measures are implemented.
  • Participate in the investigation of complaints, food safety close calls, and trends, ensuring effective preventive measures are put in place.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical role within the food sector.
  • Desirable: degree in Food Science and good understanding of GMP and Global Food Safety Initiatives.
